Bolton Communicators is a not-for-profit community speaking group being set up by members of Salford Speakers.

We are building Bolton Communicators’ membership to become an independent, fully chartered, Toastmasters Club.

If you want to grow your skills and actively pursue your personal development then you will definitely benefit from taking part in the club meetings and will enjoy working through the specially developed learning paths that have proven to be extremely beneficial to millions of members worldwide.

Toastmasters is an international not-for-profit organisation that provides a range of valuable services that enable club members to become the best public speakers that they can be.

All over 18s are welcome to join us.

Are you nervous about speaking in public or presenting at work?

If you are then you have found the right place to help you to overcome your nerves and become the best speaker and presenter that you can be.

(and if you are not nervous but want to improve then we can help with that too).

Agenda outline :

Our meetings usually have a theme such as 'Summer' or 'Valentines' and the content relates to the theme.

We start with introductions to various roles such as timer, grammarian and Ah counter.

We then have impromptu speaking which visitors may choose to take part in.

After a break we have prepared speeches.

After the speeches the evaluators provide suggestions for improvement.

We then have reports from the roles.

During the evening we vote for the best speakers and evaluators.

All of this is done in a convivial atmosphere.
